Amberley a lovely country town in the beautiful wine region of Waipara Valley. Teviot View Accommodation is just 400m off SH1 in a quiet location but still close to all the amenities. A Countdown supermarket is only 300m away and Amberley's cafes/shops and restaurants are within a short walking distance as well. If you fancy a stroll you are only 4km away from Amberley Beach. Make the most of your stay by going for lunch at one of the Waipara Valley Wineries (5 min drive) and maybe try some wine tasting too.
Amberley is a 40 minute drive north of Christchurch (and Christchurch Airport) and is on the Alpine Pacific Triangle, which connects Waipara Valley (10 minutes drive) with Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve (1 hour drive) and Kaikoura (1.5 hour drive).
Coming from the south (Christchurch direction SH1) turn right into Amberley Beach Road. You will find Teviot View Accommodation 400m down the road on your right hand side. Coming from the north (Cheviot and Kaikoura) turn left into Amberley Beach Road. You will find Teviot View Accommodation 400m down the road on your right hand side.

The Nor'wester Cafe is located only a 5 minute walk from Teviot View. A great place to have breakfast or lunch. Dinner on Friday and Saturday. What about just popping in for a coffee and a cake?
